Dr. Kay Crawford, my mentor, brought a powerful perspective to her passion for Drill Team by fostering an environment rooted in positive competition. She understood that success was never just about winning trophies—it was about cultivating dignity, integrity, and personal growth within each student. That philosophy shaped not only strong performers but strong individuals.

I am committed to carrying forward her vision by inspiring students to build confidence, develop self-esteem, and take pride in their hard work and dedication. During my time as an administrator, I saw firsthand the importance of programs like Dance Team, which provide students with a structured, supportive, and authentic space to grow.
