2027 CONTEST REGISTRATION

• All entries must be submitted through the MDDT registration portal.
• Once your registration form is complete, print it for review, then submit it—until it is submitted, we will not see your entries.
• Upon receiving your registration, you will receive a contest invoice.
• Payment options: credit card, booster/school check, and Zelle.

It's advisable to modify this password to something memorable. Ensure you provide an email address you wish to receive all relevant updates throughout the fall season and during the holidays.

If you are new to MDDT or are using a different email address, you will be able to create a new account and/or make any changes beginning on Sept. 1, 2026. At which point, you will follow the registration instructions before entering contests.

If you have transferred to a different team within the same district, please use a different email address if possible, or notify the MDDT Texas office so we can update your account.

1. By registering for our Contests, you agree to grant MDDT Texas-DanceSurge permission to seek any medical attention or treatment as deemed appropriate in the event of illness or injury. Any medical cost incurred due to illness or injury is not the responsibility of MDDT Texas-DanceSurge.
2. By registering for our Contests, you agree to hold harmless MDDT Texas-DanceSurge and our team to take photographs OR video footage and subsequently utilize image assets for advertisement both in print and digital marketing... this includes photos presented as entries for the “MOST PHOTOGENIC" part of the contest.
3. By registering for our Contests, you agree that you and your team/school have met the requirements in acquiring the music rights that will be used at this contest.

• Wednesday, 10 days before the contest (if not sooner), a preliminary schedule is emailed.
• Sunday, the week of the contest, all changes (mistakes) must be submitted to MDDT team member Lynn at schedulemddtt@gmail.com .
• Wednesday, before the contest, a final schedule will be sent by email to the dance team directors.
• Thursday, before the contest, an initial schedule will be posted on mddttexas.com—an updated schedule, if necessary, will be posted on the day of the contest.

The add/drop deadline for a full refund is two weeks before the contest date. Once the preliminary schedule is emailed, there will be no refunds.
