Friday, March 6th: SOLO CONTEST
Awards will be presented that evening.
A Senior in the public high school division scoring the highest total points of the day will receive a $1,000 scholarship. In the event of a tie, the judges will determine a winner.

Contest using the auditorium and gym.
Solo Awards announced on Friday.

Team/Officer and Ensemble Comps
There will be Best in Class and Category winners in each division plus Perfect Score Awards for precision, technique, choreography, and overall effect.

Jr. High and High School Awards will be announced at the end of the evening. Studio Awards will be announced at the end of the day's competition and one group will be selected from each Studio to compete in The Battle of the Best Studio Division. (Social officers are considered officers at the contest on Sat. but their scores are not combined with dance officers.)

The Battle of the Best is only for Teams who have competed in 3 categories.

After all performances are complete, the highest-scoring routine from each team will be announced, and teams will return to perform that same routine (no matter which genre) for the title of BATTLE OF THE BEST!

~ Battle of the Best Criteria ~
Teams must enter (3) categories during the regular competition day to qualify for the Battle of the Best Championship. All will be given their critiques during the break to strategize and perfect their next performance!

Team Directors will draw for the performance order for the evening’s Championships!

We will have a NEW panel of judges with a different score sheet designed with caption judging!
~ • ~
We will announce 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards (day and evening events) at the end of the competition. Studios, Jr. High, and High School will be judged in separate groupings.

THIS IS DIFFERENT...
it’s not State and not National; it’s the Battle of the Best Championship!
