PUBLIC/PRIVATE SCHOOL TEAM DIVISIONS

Divisions are based on registration numbers.

MDDT takes into account the size of the overall competition to create a competitive environment. This division is for teams only and not for officer lines.

(50% of your team must dance.)

OFFICER DIVISION

Divisions are based on registration numbers by MDDT. This contest is judged in each category, and winners are selected by category, (Social Officers are judged in officer divisions but separate from dance officers)

STUDIO DIVISIONS 

• Tiny/Mascot: (are in PreK/K-1st grade) 
• Minis/Elementary: (are in 2nd-4th grade) 
• Youth/Intermediate: (are in 5th-6th grade) 
• Juniors: (are in 7th-8th grade) 
• Seniors: (are in 9th-12th grade)

(If team has performers in multiple grades, the team should enter in the division that the oldest performer is in) ex. performers are 1st graders and 2nd graders—they should enter as Mini-Elementary. 

 ELEMENTARY PUBLIC/PRIVATE  SCHOOL DIVISION

All teams will compete together and will have the opportunity to win awards in the elementary division.

JUNIOR HIGH PUBLIC/PRIVATE SCHOOL DIVISION

All teams will compete together and will have the opportunity to win awards in the Junior High Division.  (If there are several teams and sizes are very wide in membership numbers, MDDTTexas reserves the right create size groupings)

SPECIALTY TEAM DIVISIONS:

• JV Team Division
• All Male Division
• Elite Team (Any team with less than 50% of members performing will be entered in the "elite" team division.) 

TEAM ENTRIES - $335 per routine

OFFICER ENTRIES - $320 per routine 

LARGE ENSEMBLE - (12-15  performers) $280 per routine 

MEDIUM ENSEMBLE -( 7-11performers) $270 per routine

SMALL ENSEMBLE - (4-6 performers) $250 per routine

TRIO AND DUET - $225 per routine 

SOLOS - $140 per routine
